Hello,
I'm so glad I've found this site I honestly thought I was on my own! I even started to think I was making my problems up! I've not been diagnosed with endo I'm off for a laparoscopy next month after having 8 months of hell. I'm only 19 and I'm studying to be a doctor so as you can imagine I'm a very very busy person and I'm so stressed that I'm not going to pass my exams...also next month. A few questions:
*I went for my consultation yesterday and I have had one examination done in the past which was almost unbearable but yesterday he had no chance I was screaming crying while he was trying to do it...has anyone else done this or am I just a wimp?! It's the same sort of pain during intercourse (which is well out of the question now!)
*I have been told that I have to stop running my pills together but I am so scared to have a period because last time I did I was on the floor crying and could not get rid of the pain with my strongest pain killers, my periods also last for 14 days now. Does anyone have any advice to other pain killing methods or is it ok to go to A and E with period pain!?
*I have also had this constant pain in my lower abdomen which I am also usuing rediculously strong painkillers for, will this ever go away? I can't have a full week in uni as I am. I have also had breakthrough bleeding for the past 8 months now will this ever stop?
I can't get any answers off my consultant because he seems to be a very arrogant man who likes to make fun of me for not being able to diagnose myself or describe things properly because I'm a medical student; so any help or advice from some nice people wold be fantastic! I can't swop because I'll be waiting another 7 months to get anywhere!
Thankyou for any help!
