Hi I am a new member! I am 29 and have been married 5 years. We have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and last Tues. I had a lap. I knew I had endo, but I didn't know how bad. I have had awful cramps my whole life. My doctor told me my right fallopian tube and ovary were stuck to my bladder. She fixed this and removed as much endo as she could. She said that I would of never of gotten pregnant the last 2 years because of this problem. She told me I'm about a stage 3 in regards to endo and wants to put me on Lupron. I am very nervous and I might opt to not take this drug. I have read the side effects are horrible and some are long term. Is anyone taking lupron? Has anyone gotten pregnant having stage 3 endo? I am so sad right now. So many things are going through my head. Should I take lupron and gamble the effect? Should I look into IVF? Should I adopt.?We are so ready to be parents.

Hi, Jill. Welcome to the forum. Sorry for all your strife. Please check out the active Lupron thread. You will find TONS of Lupron-related info there.
Please also take the time to post your intro in the "Introduce Yourselves" forum. Thanks.
(Note to others: Please post Lupron-related replies in the Lurpon thread.)

We asked my dr whether she'd had any patients who got pregnant with endo as bad as mine (stage 4), she said 'oh yes, and even worse cases'. So it can happen. It's tough when all the choices and questions are going through your mind. I found this board really helped.

I'm have stage 4 and am trying to get pregnant now and my dr said the same thing, there is no reason I shouldn't be able to get pregnant naturally...of course, they said if I don't get pregnant in a year to come back for another lap because my endo is so severe (even after they excised 85% of it).
Jill - did they test your fallopian tubes to make sure they were open. My insides sound a little like yours with a few added 'sticking points' and during the first lap they found that my fallopian tubes were blocked. They opened on the 2nd lap and confirmed they were still open on the 3rd lap.

I had a HSG done a couple months before my lap and my tubes were open. I also had one during my lap and I think they were open. I still have not had my appointment to talk with here, but she did talk to my husband. She did not mention my tubes being blocked. I see her 3/2.
Did your doctor also mention Lupron? I think I am going to opt out of taking it and try naturally for a couple of months and then look into IVF.
This is kind of a TMI ?, but after your lap when you started your period was it really heavy? I have a lot of clots and cramps. I also started a week early I wonder if I will ovulate this month.
