Sounds like you and I are in kind of similar positions bandwidow. I had a lap to remove endo in Dec 06 but they didn't get it all by any means - too bad on my bowel. How about you? Did they give you an indication of how them not getting it all would effect your fertility?
My doc thinks we only have a low chance and IVF is the most likely option. We're trying naturally until about sept/oct and then we'll go for IVF.
My fertility dr did a day 3 test for estrogen and estrodial. Also i had my thyroid levels checked. I already had an underactive thyroid and took medication, but it turned out I needed to change it to increase my chances of conceiving, so it's worth asking for that test too.
So sorry to hear you didn't get pregnant last cycle. I know how depressing it is each month. Good luck next time!!
I'm expecting my period on the 12th April, so I guess I'll start getting my hopes up soon like always - but sure that's life!!

OK... add me to the list. My husband & I are TTC for the first time. I'm 28 with stage 4/5 endo. One ovary is stuck to my bowel and won't be any good to me until I have surgery later on in the year, and even then probably won't be much good. The other ovary had a cyst (or more than one? I don't know for sure), the endometrioma chocolate kind, which was removed and the ovary mobilised, so it is partially functional. My tubes are patent atleast. I have severe active endo in the pouch of douglas. I also have adenomyosis and I'm confused about whether that affects anything. My doc thinks our chances are very slim until after the surgery (even then not good), but it seems we can try anyway, because I can always postpone my surgery if I miraculously get pregnant. So, here we are. I have lots to learn, I have been scanning through this section and I was so lost. I totally have to get that book, "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". I hope things go well for all of you

Hello! I would like to add my name to the list also. I'm a newbie and have a post on the Intro board . My husband and I are trying to conceive for the first time. I'm 25 and just recently found out I have stage 2 endo. I just had a lap done on Wednesday to remove an ovarian cyst, no clue I had endo until then....

lyndsey, i have added your name...all the best.
i had my 4th IUI at 9am..felt really hungry after that. had a very early lunch of chicken rice and went home to rest..i slept for nearly 2 hours..may be i was exhausted. now i'm back at the office
i have quite a bad abdomen pain rite now..sharp pain,it comes and it goes i always have this at least 1 day during ovulation time..i checked my temperature this morning and it's 36.7 C ..i wonder why it didn't rise after i was being 'induced to ovulate' by PREGNYL...good thing i have egg white discharge but not that strechy and it's a bit cloudy..what do you think ouchy? for Tony's book it should be very stretchy..
does anybody has abdomen pain before, during ovulation or after? _______________________________ GOOD NEWS: the nurse told me that there was this lady who just did IUI after 13th years of trying naturally..it was a success the first time she tried- i was actually around when the lady went and get her PUREGON shot. i still remember how she look like..very lucky.
well..keep on trying

Thanks denna, it's because my surgical team don't schedule in many of these 4-5hr operations. If anyone drops out I may get in sooner.

good thing i have egg white discharge but not that strechy and it's a bit cloudy..what do you think ouchy? for Tony's book it should be very stretchy Not necessarily. If this is the best your cervical mucus gets each month, then this is probably your peak fertility sign. I never had eggwhite, but apparently, my mucus was still good enough to last 4 days from sex until ovulation. Don't give up! btw, for your other question, we have a pain w/ ovulation thread. Please post that question there.

I'd love to be added to your list. I promise to keep you all in my prayers. Infertility is one of the hardest roads to travel. Only those who experience it can relate.
