Hi denna, I have watched the CD specially designed for infertility. Along with yoga and pranayam, ayurvedic medicines are also told on that CD. But the stress is given mainly on exercises specially on breathing exercises. You don't need to buy that CD. I will send you an English CD where all are covered. watch that one, then I will tell you which exercises are specially helpful for us. I know their shipping charge is very high. The CD which I bought in Rs 60 from the camp, if I buy it form the site it will cost Rs 350. Don't worry please give me your address, I will send you. So sorry scarlett, I spell you name incorrectly. I am continuing TTCing, but no more clomid and allopathic medicine. I am on homeopathic medicine and yoga and feeling very positive. Fingers crossed for you. Why don't you chart BBT and cervical fluid? It can also detect your fertile window

No no, I have bought it from the camp not from the site. You can send your mailing address as a private message. I will buy the CD from local shop. The doctor study my case history then decide the medicine. In homoeopathy medicines are given according to nature of individuals. The medicines given to me, may not work for you.

Isn't it wild HOW much you learn about your body from this book? It's just amazing. LOL. If I would have read it 4 days sooner, I would NOT be pregnant now! I didn't know about the whole cervical mucus/fluid being the MOST important fertility sign! Good luck to you, Denna!

yes agree with you ouchy, now i monitor my cervical fluid everyday..have you ever have a 'running' cervical fluid? i had it yesterday, it felt like i urinated a bit and a white fluid went down my spine/legs..quite embarrasing as i was about to go in my friend's car.. ha ha

yap..not sure if it's good or it's is bad..lucky i have opted out of clomid.it does dry cervical fluid, that is the reason why they do IUI when one is taking clomid.I never knew.

Apparently, it's a GREAT thing! the more slippery the fluid, the longer the sperm can live...and travel toward the egg! So, congrats!

I got an e-mail from her a couple months back. I don't know if she has delivered or not yet, but she must be getting close if not. She told me something about gestational diabetes. Her OBGYN had put her on that diabetic medicine I was on to induce ovulation. Guess there's something to insulin resistance being a part of pre-diabetes . She seemed to be managing it, though. Eeek. I really hope my appetite comes back so I can go on my diet. I don't want to wind up w/ that!!! I hoep she comes back! And dont' worry, denna. I'll stay after having this kid!

Hello, everyone. I guess you can add me to this list - trying to conceive. I just had most of the endo removed in Feb (1st time). They could not get all of it. And, while my doctor is wanting me to do Lupron, we decided last night to try for a few months to do things homeopathically and see if that helps - after reading through the messages here yesterday. I just found out on Sunday a.m. that I wasn't pregnant again.
ouchy, was there a book that you bought for the diet you're on?
My doc also says she send me to a fertility specialist - what is the first thing they'll try? Maybe I should be asking this somewhere else??

Well, I checked out a book called Syndrome X: The Complete Nutritional Program to Prevent and Reverse Insulin Resistance (Insulin Resistance (IR) caused my hormones to be out-of-whack and for me to either ovulate extremely late or not at all.) Here is a website for that book, but I just checked it out at the library. www.syndrome-x.com/I did my own version of the diet based on the book. And it balanced my hormones the first month, allowing me to ovulate on day 16! <--That was unheard of for me! The diet also made me have 0 menstrual cramps and 0 blood clots, when I thought I was going to have to go for another lap bc the cramps had recently been so bad. If you have a problem with hormones, I recommend that book on Syndrome X. If you are serious about getting pregnant and want to do it as quickly as possible and learn SO much about your body, I HIGHLY recommend the book Denna recently bought, Taking Charge of Your Fertilityby Toni Weschler. Here is a link to the author's website. You can buy the book very cheaply on eBay, though. :)http://www.tcoyf.com/ If you're going to a fertility specialisit (I went to a reproductive endocrinologist w/ one of my friends to her appt.), he asked her about her cycles, were they regular, painful, etc. He also wanted to do a TV ultrasound on her, but she didn't let him. lol. He will probably want to do a lot of hormone testing on you on day 3 of your cycle (3rd day of your period). After that, I'm not sure exactly what else. He wound up putting her on Clomid; it made her ovulate, but she didn't get pregnant. She then tried IUI but didn't get pregnant. However, after reading that Taking Charge of Your Fertility book, she got pregnant the first month. Hope this helps a bit. My doc. wanted me to go on Clomid, but now that I know I just have to eat healthy and can ovulate strongly on my own, I don't see the point (for myself, anyway).
