This site is pretty cool! It will let you chart your temperatures, OPK's, saliva microscope, intercourse, bio-feedback, meds, among other things. It will analyze the data you enter and give you a "coverline"...when the software "thinks" you ovulated. It's really cool...and it's free! www.fertilityfriend.com . OH...plus, you can compare your charts to thousands of other charts!

I've been using the online charting website for a couple months now, and I must say it is awesome! It can detect even the most complex of ovuation patterns. It detected one for me that I probably wouldn't have caught right away! Lovin' it!

Thanks for the link to that chart thing. Im going to start using it so I can get to know my body as well as you do. I can guess when Im ovulating,,, but am never 100% sure. I started it today, but expecting AF around the 18th so next month will be more accurate.
Thanks again,

Hi, Mere. I'm not, because I think that's part of the VIP service (not for sure, though). I just have the basic services. I'm actually trying to NOT get pregnant, so I'm using Fertility Friend backwards .

I have been a member of fertility friends for about 3-4 years. I love charting and how easy it makes it. THe message boards use to be free, but with so many people on it that were not registerd or whatever they were running out of space so decided to make it only available for paid members sux too, I use to love gonig there. Another great website about fertility and information is www.TCOYF.com this is a free site (jsut have to sign up as a member) and it has lots of information on stuff, there is even a thread on endo. you should all check it out.

I was thinking of charting just so I can get to know my body and whats going on a little better. Is it easy to do? I tend to be a bit lazy and give up on things like this!

It's awesome!!! And you can learn SO much about your body! For instance, had I not started charting, I probably would have suffered another early pregnancy failure--basically, I don't make enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy in the early stages. My chart showed anywhere from a 5-10 day luteal phase (time after ovulation until period). Anything under 10 days is usually too low to support an early pregnancy. Now I use the natural progesterone cream and have a healthy 13-14 day luteal phase! You can learn a lot of beneficial stuff from charting! It also doesn't take much getting used to. I bought a really fast digital thermometer--takes only 5 seconds for the reading. Literally, my alarm clock goes off, I take my temperature, then I wake up! And once you see your first ovulation "coverline" on your chart, you'll WANT to chart, because it is SOOO fun! You can also usually know the day you're going to get your period, because the temperature is supposed to fall.

ouchy,
ya,it's great.i have received my 5th lesson already..now i really understand what is happening in my body.las time i wouldn't care less..
how do you use the digital themormeter? i couldn't find BBT here so i bought a digital one..where do you put it to check your temperature?
how do you knoe you don't make enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy? do you know that just by charting. i just had my period and still learning how to chart-still 'blur' actually

Hi, Denna! I bought a regular digital thermometer, too. It's more accurate to take your temps vaganally, as if you take your temps. orally, you might sleep w/ your mouth open, breathe funny, etc. Make sure you take your temp. when you first wake up--the same time each morning, before you get up, etc.
You will have a good clue about low progesterone if you notice 10 days or less from ovulation until you get your period (luteal phase). A normal luteal phase is supposed to be 14 days, but if I recall correctly, less than 10 days is not enough progesterone to support a pregnancy in the early stages. If you find this happening on your charts, the charting gives you a very good clue, which can be confirmed w/ blood tests.
