Yes! That's the current treatment I'm on right now. So far, it's not working.

i have a question... i have been on low ogestrel for about 3 weeks now pain was better. then out of the middle of nowhere yesterday the pain was back. it was so bad today that i had to go home and the only thing that helps the pain a little bit is to lay on my left side in a fertile position. anyone else had this kind of trouble. my husband called the doctor office and of course he wasnt in today but he did call in pain meds and stated if not better then to call and get in monday. but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

the only thing that helps the pain a little bit is to lay on my left side in a fertile position. I know you're in pain and that this is a typo, but I couldn't resist. A "fertile" position. Heheh! I've been on the brand-name, Lo/Ovral, and it was by far the worst b.c. I was ever on...and I was on 10+ different ones. What side is your pain on? Describe where it is. It might not be related to the pill, and it might be something that you shoudl go to the e.r. for. Can you give more info?

the pain is on both side right and left sides along with in the middle of the pelvic area... it is a throbbing and stabing pain... it hurts to sit up straight and to walk. if anything is tight on my hips it hurts so bad. i am staying sick to my stomach and keeping a headache really bad that started about 2 days ago. i read the side effects of the pill and it states to call doctor asap if this pain was happening but he said if the pain presist more than 2 or 3 days then he will see me on monday.

Hmm, if you've been on it for about 3 weeks now, is it possible that you're about to get your period?

If you think you can hold out 2 or 3 days, then go for it. If not, please go to the nearest E.R. that has ultrasound capability. At least get your white blood cells checked to see if you have an infection. I really think this may not be pill-related. A way to tell would be to discuss with your doctor going off the pill for a month to see if it helps.
Please keep us updated on this.

Ah, got it. Even though your body may not be having an actual period, I know some people (including myself) have mentioned feeling like they're having a period, even if they don't bleed. As Ouchy so correctly stated, though, seek medical attention if necessary. Even when it's NOT new, it can still be just as confusing. Listen to your body and take care!

well... a little update.... pain still as bas as it was but i will not go to an ER where i live unless i have to. after working on an ambulance for 3 years and going in myself to the er's. they dont do much of anything. and the er doctor's around here are stupid and refuse to really do any looking into anything. you say you have endo and they stop and go "well this is something that you have to live with if pain stays this way talk to your gyn on monday".... they are lazy so since i know what they are going to say.... unless the pain and weakness gets to the point that i cant move around or cant stop sleeping then to the er i will go. but as of right now i think i can make it to monday to see the doctor. cause then i will talk to him about my depression and going to see a doc for it.

Don't we all! But that's why we are here is to listen and console each other! I'm having the same issue with the pain meds. They make my Meniere's ear act up and I get so dizzy that I have to take anti-verts and anti-nauseas to keep from throwing up and then I end up in bed sound asleep because they make me to tired to function. Its a delicate balance. Is the pain bad enough to warrant sleeping the day away!

Well, glad you were able to get in to see the doc. Did you have an ultrasound to rule out a cyst at all? I do hope you get some relief and hope you're able to get off the pain meds and back to work soon!

My doctor has recently changed my birth control pill to Levora-28 tablet generic for Nordette-28. I was wondering if anyone here has been on it and if it helped their pain. I have been on this pill for 10 days now and I went from pain only during week 3 pills to having pain everyday since day 3 of the new pills. Plus I have been spotting for about maybe 3 days also. I plan on giving it some more time before calling my doctor. It has also made me very on edge and keeping a headache. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck on this pill.

Honestly, everyone reacts quite differently to different pills. I'd suggest keeping a calendar of your symptoms - like being on edge, headache - to keep track of things and talk to your doc about.

Thanks for the idea olsenka... I was thinking of doing that right now I have it all in my mind. That is a great idea!!! Yeah everyone reacts differently to different pills but I thought I would see if anyone else had problems out of this pill.
