Hey there everyone, I've not read every post under pain so I appologise if someone has already asked this....but here goes. I was thinking about the whole burning, stabbing, cramping, pressure, back ache and so many other painful feelings thing, and I got to wondering if anyone has ever compared their pain...I realise we all have diff degrees of severity of endo, and its found in diff places and that my idea will in NO WAY be scientific, it would be more for my own personal interest. But...lets compare what pain we have, where we experience it and when we have it.
cramping...like your uterus and muscles around it are squeezing like they are trying to expell from you body..normally around my period.
stabbing...anytime...catches me off gaurd. often when I sneeze or move too quickly...throughout cycle. and more before my period.
pressure...this one is the most tiring. its not as painful as the others but it causes bloating and extreme fatigue...its very draining. this happens all the time...every day!
burning...not nice...like tingling all the way to actual burning like you wanna get ice or something...anytime. normally starts with cramping or stabbing and then takes over.
back ache...you know in your lower back over those two pelvic bones that stick out on either side of the spine (so i'm scientifically challenged) its normally a dull continuous pain. but can stab and these are more prolonged than the ovary stabs. back ache is terrible when I lie down, it sears and burns..normally with other pain, but building lately.
Thats really all i can think of off hand. What I'd like to know is if anyone else's pain is similar or experienced around the same times...maybe we could try associating pain with endo in diff regions... like mayb stabbing means cycts or pollops? not that I have cysts but I get the stabs? so just a bit of research...please dont take anything for serious medical advice or a way to determine where your endo is progression wise. Just wanting to have some answers for myself.
Thanks for your patience reading all of that...I'd love some replies...of course only if you feel comfortable. thanks again.
