Hello, I was diagnosed with severe Endometriosis at the age of 40, after suffering for over 20 years. I had 2 Laparoscopies and have been on bcp's with continuous use for the past 8 years. I am turning 50 in October and decided to stop the bcp's and testosterone I was taking to feel somewhat normal. I have a strict regiment with nutrition, pilates and yoga, meditation, acupuncture and myofascial release and feel that his will be a good support for impending discomfort and pain. My experience with endo has been a long, difficult one that has effected every aspect of my life and I have a lot of anxiety with my new decision. Of what to expect? Will the pain be as bad as it once was? Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions on their experience when going off all hormones? It has been 4 days with a clean slate....feeling anxious. MK
