Hi everyone,
I've returned after quite a long hiatus from the boards. I decided to return because unfortunately my endo has returned and I am facing excision surgery April 21st with Dr. Cook at Vital Health Institute in Los Gatos California.
I felt blindsighted when I ended up in the ER March. 8th and was told I had two ovarian cysts on my right ovary and a 4mm endometrinoma on my left ovary. I've been grieving quite a bit because for the past 4 years since my surgery with Dr. Redwine I felt like I was doing well overall.
I'm also back to where I started when I found these boards because yet again there is suspect that I have an auto immune disease, but an alternative/internal medicine doc I'm seeing has yet to figure out which one. I get the rest of my blood work back tomorrow. I've been somewhat fearful because I showed abnormalities on my liver and bowel on my CT in the ER.
Anyways I'm happy to be back despite the circumstances and look forward to connecting again with new and old faces. I knew I could come back here to a safe and supportive place to people who understand and that means a lot to me.

Hi Karen, Thank you for the hug! My blood work today showed that my adrenals and DHEA are low so my internal medicine doc is going to start me on pregneolone. I had my 2nd Myers Cocktail treatment and 2nd treatment of glutathione for my liver. I'm having additional blood work done ordered by Dr. Cook and have my 1st consultation with his nurse practioner this Friday. I'm in a waiting pattern with a bunch of familiar pain, but I'm doing my best to stay positive and trust that I can get through this. I'm fortunate to have my internal medicine Dr and acupuncturist supporting me. I moved back home in 2012 to Buena Vista, CO which is a very rural area and I haven't had good experiences with healthcare up here. There's still so many misconceptions about endometriosis as I know everyone on these boards know. Happy to be back. I'll keep posting. How is everything with you Karen?
