I had a laparoscopy done a week ago. After 5 years of pain, terrible symptoms, and no diagnosis. I'm so happy to say that they did find something. When I woke up the nurse told me that he removed some adhesions and my appendix. I was shocked to hear about my appendix! I didn't see that coming because almost every hospital trip I'd make, they thought it could be my appendix but it would turn out that it was fine. Well the doctor was going to talk to my dad but he stepped out of the waiting room and my doctor had to leave. My appointment is on the 6th so all I know right now, is that they removed adhesions and my appendix. So I feel like I'm in the dark a bit. I've never had abdominal surgery before this, so could it be Endo? Can you have adhesions without Endo? I asked the nurse why they removed my appendix and if it's Endo but she said my doctor didn't say. Shouldn't he have told her?

It's possible it's endo. Have you had any other sort of STDs or trauma to your pelvic area? Adhesions aren't necessarily indicative, but it's possible it's endo. Have you had your post-op yet?
They'd have likely sent tissue to be tested to see if it's endo, so the nurse or doctor may not have known just yet.
