Hi all, Do any of you have pain or ache in your upper right side during ovulation or around your period? I have had this, with increasing intensity over the past several years. I had my gallbladder removed last year, but that did not change this symptom. This happens every month. Could it be referred pain from my girly parts?

It's possible, but it's hard to say. Was your gallbladder removed specifically because of the pain?

Majorly delayed response, sorry! My gallbladder was removed due to a motility problem. I did not have stones, but my hida scan showed high ejection rate... Which gave me diarrhea every time I ate. I am on Questran now, which helps with the D, which unfortunately did not stop after my surgery. In fact, the questran and gluten free diet can even constipate! Honestly, I wish I would have tried Questran before getting my gb removed because now I am living with gastritis, which I think is from the bile refluxing. Anyway, back to my original question... I have been thinking that I might have so much bloating that my hepatic flexure gets the squeeze. I have been having to be very careful not to get constipated now. I have also been diagnosed with NASH, which might account for some discomfort, but not all.
Anyone else have these symptoms?
