Hi all, About a year ago I had a laparoscopy done, while there was no endometriosis found (thank goodness), she did find some adhesions (before the surgery I got really sick, Noro Virus I believe, and the OBGYN thinks that because I was so sick, for 3 weeks sick, I may have had acute appendicitis which could have caused these adhesions). Fast forward 6 months and my pain is back same type, nausea the whole 9 yards of course. So I head back to my PCP who is really great and listens to me and she referred me back to my OBGYN to see what she thinks. Of course, my PCP ran some tests and had a transvaginal ultrasound which all came back fine. So I see my OBGYN and she starts pressing around my abdomen, and thought it was best if we did some PT and supository Valium. I head to the PT which I have seen before all of this had happened and all she kept asking me is 'are you sure she didn't say anything about endometriosis?' So now what am I suppose to think? Then she continues to say 'We can try PT but I am not sure it's going to work for you.' She also suggested acupuncture which I am not so sure I can bring myself to do. So all in all, Do I see a specialist? Do I continue PT and the Valium which has helped some but I still have another 2 months of? Do I see another OBGYN and see what they have to say? I am just soo frustrated and tired! So here I am again hoping for some guidance or advice. Thanks in advanced!

I would ask for the surgical and lab report from your previous surgery and take it to an endo specialist. Your surgeon may have not seen any endo, but where did they look? Endo can be in multiple places outside the gyn areas, so many doctors do not look around enough to find it. If your doctor did not even take out your appendix when endo was suspected along with the possible appendicitis, then that doctor did not look around enough. My appendix was not taken out until my 4th surgery. By then, it was completely black from the endo and stuck to the sidewall even though ultrasounds said I did not have problems with it.

Hi, Thank you for the reply. I do believe that will be my next step. It's just frustrating!
