My daughter has had nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain x 1 year. In the mornings, she vomits a small amount of mucousy spit. At the time she developed this, her periods became extremely painful. GI really can't find anything wrong. She is unable to go to school or work. She had a complex ovarian cyst but the last ultrasound didn't mention it so it might be gone. Her GI symptoms are worse when she gets her period. I don't know what to do. Could this be endo?

It could be endo, but endo mimics symptoms of a lot of other things so it's hard to say. When did she have the ovarian cyst? Did it rupture? I know those can be extremely painful and I have a few friends that have had similar symptoms with a rupture.
I'd really encourage you to find a good gyn. Not one that works mostly with pregnant women, but a true gyn that specializes in women's issues and endo. Unless you find someone that can dial it in and really help you get to the bottom of it fast, you may end up getting the run around for a while. What area of the world are you in? Perhaps one of our members is in the same area and can help point you in the right direction!
I'm sorry your daughter is having these symptoms. I'm glad she has you in her corner, though. Don't give up on her, keep pushing for answers, and don't ever let a doctor try to convince you that this is all in her head. Because it's not. Something's going on, and you both deserve to get some answers.
