Ohhh and that reminds me! I drank a lot of protein shakes! Also some of those c monster type juices as long as they were low in citrus. There is lots of liquid forms of getting nutrition.

Something else you can do is drink Ensure drinks. Mind you, they may have lactose in them....

I don'e neccessarily have lack of hunger, it's that I just don't want to eat beginning two days before my period actually starts and for the next four to five days because of the pain. I can actually feel my food digesting or moving and it is SOO painful (about a 7 on a scale of 1-10). I be sure to stay away from lactose, very fatty, spicy, sugary, and salty foods for those five days. A few months ago, I actually fasted except for water and green tea for three days and my pain was down to a 3. I haven't had that will power since then though. I usually make soups and stews and consume a lot of broth and a little bit of veggies, I also tend to drink pickle juice. I also snack on dry Cheerios and fresh spinach during that time. I've learned to breathe through my pains (like breathing through labor pains) so I deal with that gawd-awful pain every month. I sympathize with all the ladies on here that have had severe pain for many years; but we're that much stronger because of it!
