Hello ladies! I''m new here. I've been sharing my story in the Introduction section. I'm from Europe, Moldova. We do as well have endo here)) I have two endo-cysts, about 6 and 7 cm each, on each ovary. I have a laparoscopy planned on Friday. I've searched for the best surgeon around, and hopefuly picked one. My main concern about this laparoscopy is for them to keep my ovaries. I don't have kids yet, but if it's gonna go succesfully, we will try to concieve during summer.
So please pray or keep fingers crossed, whatever your thing is)
Can i post pictures here? If yes, how would I do that? I would love for you to see how our hospitals look, so you could appreciate the nice hospitals you guys got in US.
As it happend, the best surgeon works in a public hospital, but I would rather choose that, than a nice private hospital with a lame one. This surgery is free, as I have insurance, but in our country we ussualy pay the doctor after the surgery personally. So our plan is to give our surgeon about $200.00, this is like a one month salary in our country. As well we pay the anasthesia guy before surgery to get a nice anasthesia, ussualy it would be $20-$30, that is what they expect. I hate this burricracy in our country, but .... I have no choice)
So yeah, I will try to write a little everyday. To keep myself distractted from the scary thoughts and keep you updated. Sorry for the spelling, english is my third language.

Good luck! Don't push yourself after the lap, take it easy! When you're able to, get up and walk a little (even if its just to get from the bed to the bathroom) as movement really goes help with the trapped gas and constipation.

Good luck!
If your doctor is able, maybe he can push dye through your tubes to see if they are open. It helps gauge your fertility chances.
I would like to see pictures of the hospital! I am thankful that hospitals here in the US are usually okay after my dad was in a horrible hospital when we were on a small island in the Philippines. A cat came into the room while we were delivering food and grabbed the food bag and jumped out the window! I hope your hospital is better than that!
