My lap. Is tomorrow morning. I'm not nervous about the procedure as I've had it done more than once. My biggest fear is that the dr. Won't find endo. And I will be so frustrated. During one lap., the dr. Found my ovary and Fallopian tube were fused to my uterus. He said it was likely endo., I've had every symptom for years. But there was also a question if it was scarring from a tubal pregnancy. My symptoms are getting worse as time goes on. I just want answers and pray he finds something.

Hi Kristyn,
Welcome to the board. That's what worried me most as well when I went for my lap. Go in with positive thoughts even if it's not Endo and it's something they can do to make you feel more comfortable it's worth it. I have adhesions and endo so my colon and uterus keep connecting. My thought's and prayers will be with you tomorrow.

Good luck! IF you get a negative answer from a pathology report, don't forget you can request a second look! Many people don't know this, so its a good thing to keep in mind. My Doctor identified endo but the lab said it wasn't and he requested a second look and they apologized and said it was definitely endometriosis. I hope that you get answers!! Again, Good luck!

Hi ladies. Relieved to be home. He did find endo. He cut the scarring that fused my left tube, ovary and bowel to my uterus. The smaller ones he did something to, but can't remember what he said. I am so relieved to finally have someone give a definite diagnosis. Bummed out that my fibroid was too big to remove, said it is the size of my uterus. I guess I will be facing a hysterectomy in the future after all.. I am not in too much pain...yet. I had morphine when I woke up, my back was killing me. He sent me home with ultram. I did take GasX a while ago. He told me todo a liquid diet for 12 hours. He said tomorrow I may be ok or think I was hit by a train. Thanks for your support!

I'm sorry for my late response. I'm happy that you finally got answers! Sometimes that's half the battle. How are you feeling?

A little better today, but not great. I expected it from last time, but it really hurt to go to the bathroom today. Slept better last night. Found out ultram doesn't work for me so I'm taking Motrin now. I'm home tomorrow and back to school Thursday which will be a bit rough. The doctor has called three times since I got home which is impressive. I'm bored but also not up to doing anything. I get my stitches out Friday. The dr. Felt that the scarring was the cause of my pain and not the spots of endo he found. I feel that both have bothered me and just because they weren't huge doesn't mean they haven't caused pain. Thanks!
