Hello, I just had my first laparoscopy done. When I woke up my doctor told me I had endometriosis. He said he saw the typical powder burn lesions, scar tissue/adhesions and both of my ovaries were filled with cysts. At my post op appointment he said that the 2 biopsies he took were negative for endometrial cells, but that I still have endometriosis. Is this possible?

Yes, it's possible. Unless he took a biopsy of every single spot, a negative biopsy isn't enough to rule out endometriosis, particularly if he visualized it as well.
How are you feeling post lap?

I feel great as far as the surgery went. Tomorrow is 2 weeks post op. I have felt some minor pains that I'm not sure whether or not are related to the surgery. My doctor told me I have endo on the nerves in my pelvic area and that he did not touch those.
