I only just thought about mentioning this. I've read a lot about it and I'd have to say it most closely mirrors clomid in the way it works. I know it's been recommended on a monthly basis for PCOS by Australian naturopaths, but I was just wondering if anyone has tried it--aside from me.
I used it for about 6 months though I have no trouble ovulating. Still, it shot my libido way way up. Not the best result when you don't have a significant other... ;D

Hum. Nope, other than the bc pills, the only thing I've used to treat PCOS has been Metformin (blood sugar meds). Off to research

Sort of similar. I use tri-chromium with cinnamon bark. TT was mostly tried because...well...I like to try whatever might help. The libido help was appreciated because it's been pretty much in the negative since the progestin shot--which is what I suspect caused my PCOS. But by the time I was trying TT, I had regained my regular cycles, my charts were perfectly normal. I'd imagine from what I've read that it would help with ovulation because of its regulating effect on the FSH:LH ratio, but I just didn't feel that was a problem for me, so I stopped taking it. I've considered it since for my libido, but I'm still researching its use during pregnancy. As far as I've seen, it's only been tested on pregnant animals. There were no adverse effects, but I prefer to see human studies, so I've not used it.
