Wondering if anyone here takes either of these, and if so how you've noticed it help you. Even in ways that doesn't effect endo. Also do you know why there are odorless fish oil pills? I am looking to improve my memory and concentration, as well as lowering my triglycerides. I read that fish oil is good for that, but it sounds kind of gross when you read the labels.
Just curious.

I take an essential women's oil that has flaxseed in it. I put a little in my green smoothies I eat so that I can't taste it. Also, I sometimes take cod liver oil that has lime in it, which you can't really taste the fish at all. If take by itself it's gross just becauase the oil is so thick, but if added to something else, it's very tolerable. As far as it helping with anything... well, the only thing I might have noticed a difference so far is that my skin will improve if I take it every day or almost every day for a certain legth of time (maybe 2 weeks or more). It's hard to say if it helps my endo. as my pain is a sudden come and go thing that I've only had on a few occassions. But, I know that these oils and flaxseed are supposedly great for you anyway. I hope that helps a little.

I've taken both. The flax seed oil I put it on my soup and it gives it a nice nutty taste, also I used the 'powder' type and add it to a mix that then I eat with my yogurt. I do not take fish oil at the moment, since I try to eat fish every week but I took it a while ago. I think it helps with my health overall and with my bowels, etc if I have issues been regular, etc

I take milled flax seed daily. I put it in my oatmeal, fruit smoothies, yogurt, waffles, muffins. You can sprinkle on just about anything....nutty taste.
I can tell a difference in my skin and less hot flashes! I cannot do the fish oil pills, just leaves a nasty taste in my mouth!

I took flaxseed for the second half of my cycle (eve primrose for the first) for six months last year. I have to say I didn't notice any improvement in my symptoms. It just made my skin greasier...

I have been taking fish oil (tasteless/odorless) capsules for probably a month and a half. Flax and fish oils contain those essential fatty acids. I read that fish oil is supposed to help shrink endo implants. It is a anti-inflamitory and also is supposed to help ease pain.

Thanks ladies. I work nights so I don't always get on the boards when I work. I appreciate the advice, I will look into what I can find in my area. Thanks again!

Hmmm....tasteless and odorless fish oil capsules? I will have to look into that one. Aslo you are suppose to have the milled flax seed.
They had Dr Oz on Oprah the other day and he said you do not want the whole flax seed.

www.cancerrd.com/FAQs/FAQ10.htmThis sums up what ive read elsewhere on them. I think if they werent ground up, they would just pass straight through your digestive system.
