I will be going for my Lap on Monday May 14Th.
I wanted to thank you all for all the help you have given me. When this all started in January I was lost, no one understood or could explain to me what was going on and I for sure had no clue. I would constantly type my symptoms into the computer and the same answer came back with every symptom, signs of early pregnancy. Boy was that wrong. After going to the hospital and then my Gyno all I had was this big word that I had no clue what it meant. So again on the computer I went and after a few days I saw this board called Endo Resolved. I really thought I was alone and then I found you.
You have all been so much help to me and I can not tell you how much you have helped the depression I was falling into. I can not thank you all enough. I won't have access to a computer after Friday so I wanted to thank you all now. I will be able to read the threads from home but not reply. I feel like I have made great friends and with Endo that is very hard to say.
I just want to make sure you know how much I appreciate all of you and all the help you have given me. Keep me in your thoughts on Monday please and thank you all again.

Ladies - today is Kimmie's lap - she said she can only read the board from home but can't reply but I thought it would be nice for us to reply to this thread so she's got something to read when she gets home! Kimmie - hope your surgery went well and removing the breathing tube wasn't as bad as you were anticipating! Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to hearing all about it when you are back to work! Rest up, take it slow and don't be afraid to ask that hubby for help! Hugs!

Kimmie and I found a way to communicate back/forth and she wanted me to post an update from her surgery yesterday: Stage 1 endo found. Lesions & adhesions, bowel attached to uterus and a large fibroid tumor found. Surgery was 2 1/2 hours. She mentioned she's having a hard time peeing today - anyone have any ideas for her? My initial thought was if they used a cath. during her surgery that could be why, maybe the urethra is sore from that. I know sometimes they do or don't cath patients for a lap so I'm not sure, just guessing. She mentioned some sort of blanket they put inside, guessing that must be adept solution for prevention of adhesions? Please send the words of encouragment her way - she said she's checking the board and isn't feeling so great so reading notes from us is encouraging. Thanks ladies!

Hi everyone!
Kimmie has asked me to post for her. She is still at home recovering from her lap but has had so many bad issues - she has had 3 episodes of incisions breaking open with lots of bleeding. She said she's gotten multiple infections, they have to keep draining it and she's got multiple fevers. She's been rushed to the ER 3x already and asked me to post for you guys to send her prayers and words of encouragement. I will have to go back and read the updates from her and I will update this thread. Please please send her any positive words to help her thru this awful time.
