I've been using natural progesterone cream since earlier this year. Although I can't say I didn't have my period during this time, I will say there were a couple of months where it was very late (even for me, since I've tended in the past to be late). One month in particular, I think I went to 35 days! Yeow!
You may be having other problems - have you checked with your gyno? Is it possible you're pregnant? As I'm not in the medical profession, I can only guess, but I would head to the doctor ASAP.
Good luck - and I hope everything is okay.

Hi, Does anyone know if it is safe to take antidepressants while using progesterone cream? Has anyone had experience with this?

Hi All, I thought it advisable to add some more information to this area regarding Progesterone cream and the ingredients they contain. Many Progesterone creams contain Parabens which are chemical ingredients added to act as preservatives. These same chemicals are added to most toiletries and cosmetics, i.e. shampoos, shower gels, etc. These Parabens act as xenoestrogens, which can aggrevate the symptoms of endometriosis. They also negate the required affect of wanting to increase progesterone levels in the body, because the parabens act like estrogens in the body. The ingredients of Pro-Gest (a product that has been discussed on this board) contain the following ingredients: Ingredients: Distilled water, aloe, barbadensis gel, tocopheryl acetate, cetyl alcohol, octyl palmitate, sweet almond (prunus amygdalus dulcis) oil, panthenol, PEG-8 stearate, stearic acid, glycerin, USP progesterone, polysorbate 65, proplylene glycol, lemon (citrus medica limonum) oil, carbomer, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, propylparaben, triethanolamine. These last three ingredients are toxic, and note that two of them are parabens.
The ingredients of the Progesterone cream Awakening Woman that I recommend at endo-resolved.com, which I use myself, contains the following ingredients: 960 mg. USP Natural Progesterone in a 2.3 ounce base of: Deionized Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides (coconut oil), Vitamin E Acetate, Polyacrylamide/C13-14 (non-toxic when blended sufficiently) Isoparaffin/Laurel 7 (emulsifier - non-toxic), Aloe Vera Gel, SD Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Grapefruit Seed Extract. Most of these ingredients are safe, or much less toxic, and there are no Parabens included.
The advice here regarding the toxicity and nature of the ingredients comes from my partner who is a chemist. You do need to check the ingredients of Progesterone cream very carefully to ensure you are getting the safest product. You also need to check the amount of active USP Natural Progesterone included in the product. Insufficient active Progesterone will mean you are wasting your money. The recommended amount is between 460 to 480 mg per 1 oz. I hope this bit of advice helps further your understanding of Progesterone cream. with healing thoughts Carolyn www.endo-resolved.com

These are the ingredients I got off of emerita's website for Pro-Gest, for their new Paraben-free formulation.
Complete ingredients:Water, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit E), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Carthamus Tinctorius (Hybrid Safflower) Seed Oil, Panthenol, Glycerin, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Behenoyl Lactylate, Stearic Acid, USP Progesterone, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Carbomer
I do like that the one you recommend does have fewer components/ingredients. If I do go back on a progesterone cream, I'll definitely check out the one you recommend. I just had to add that the new formulation of Pro-Gest is paraben-free, though.

Carolyn and Ouchy,
thanks for the info about the parabens and Pro-Gest. I hope I can find either the paraben free Pro-Gest or Awakening Woman at my health store.
