So, I was told today by my RE that I need a lap. Ultrasound showed two large cysts (3cm and 5cm) on each ovary. I've been suffering with pain, more in recent days. She's suspecting Stage IV endo.
I'm overwhelming myself with information on laparoscopies. I've been reading the excision is the way to go. However, is it so bad if my doctor uses ablation?
My RE can't do the lap because she just had hand surgery. So, she recommended a dr in MD (I live in VA). I also want to talk to my regular GYN about doing the lap. How do I know if either will be good? "The top 10 exicision" doctors I've been reading about are all out of state. I just can't afford that right now.
I guess what I'm asking is for any lap experiences with Stage IV endo and if you got pregnant after the lap.
Thanks!
