Hi All,
It's been ages since I've visited this forum, but now getting towards the end of my pregnancy, I'm starting to think ahead to Endo pain that lies ahead.
I'm wondering which pill/contraception device is best to slow down the return of Endo when breastfeeding?
With my 1st pregnancy, my periods returned within a month of giving birth even though I was breastfeeding exclusively/frequently (I remember my period began within days of my post c-section bleeding stopping - felt very ripped off!).
I wasn't diagnosed with Endo until my son was almost 3, so I don't know if it will take that long again for the Endo to return after this pregnancy, or whether it will be back much sooner now that has established itself. I just want to stop it in its tracks if possible.
Thanks,
Karen

If I recall, a progesterone-only pill is recomended with breastfeeding. Luckily, progesterone only are typical options for BC for endo girls. But, be warned, they often have the highest rate of side effects since they don't any estrogen to balance it out. Would be a good thing to discuss further with your doc.
Hope your pregnancy is going well!
