has anyone experienced extreme nausea and vomitting? My blood tests show nothing to cause it neither did an urgent endoscopy. the specialist suggested i should talk to my g.p about possibly being admitted to hospital for further examination... i haven't been able to work all week or do anything all week.

Yes I take dramamine every single stinkin day because if I don't, I will be puking my guts out and have to be flat on my back in the dark all day. I'm in big trouble when I forget to take it. I had my ears looked at and a bunch of blood work done and I'm "fine" they say. *rolls eyes*

That stinks! Danni, are you on BC? That makes some girls REALLY nauseous. I've had some trouble with it but never to the point of actually getting sick so frequently! I'd suggest taking dramamine like Shannon does, I think they have bracelets you can wear for that too! But don't ask me how they work.. lol

I get this too, mine is supposed to be related to Meneires ear, an inner ear condition. I keep an over the counter med around (because it seems to cycle) It can also be a sign of some other more serious things though so a Dr.s visit might be a good idea!?

i dont think its to the bc as i have been on it since i was 14 (give or take. the doctors arent really why there is this sudden onset on extreme nausea. i have been to the doctors pretty much everyday this week not to mention blood tests and an endoscopy with still no idea why i am so nauseas i am on a very expensive anti-emetic $75 for 10 tablets, ouch!

Any chance you're pregnant? Or did they rule that out?

I had this problem last year when I got sick. I was stuck like that for a few months and was basically dependent on anti nausea meds. I had a bunch of stuff wrong though so I don't know if I can really comment on nausea with all of your normal test results. Have you noticed any particular foods that make it worse? Do you notice anything at all that makes it better or worse?

Small bowel obstructions, partial or full can cause significant nausea/vomiting. A CT scan can rule out an SBO

Danniv - I've noticed that I would have this nausea within the last year after my laparotomy myomectomy, last October 2010. I noticed it would begin right before or on the day my period would start. I don't know why either. Though, I do noticed when I took a pain medication (toradol is my D.O.C.) when I had the pain and the nausea, it would go away. It was extreme to me. I never had it before. Never vomitted either.
I have also asked other endometriosis specialists this and they are perplexed. I don't know if it was due to the endometriosis or the fibroids. I had a huge fibroid in the posterior part of my uterus and was pushing on my bladder. I figured any obstruction of a cavity may cause nausea, like omaklackey said.
