hello
i am new to this board and was just reading a post about a lady who uses Olive oil vaginally to help rehy-drate the area after so long on the birth control pill.
Can you buy these in suppositories? otherwise how do you get it up there? I think this might help me. I just ordered some vitamin E suppositories online (i live in New Zealand) so I will see how those go first

Hi...That would probably be one of my threads to which you are referring. I don't know of any suppositories filled w/ olive oil. I actually painted a vaginal dilator and inserted the olive oil that way, kind of like an applicator. I suppose you could use your finger.

Hi, Helen. I guess you could make your own capsules, but I just put the oil on directly.
A vaginal dilator is...well, an instrument used to stretch the vaginal opening. That was originally "thought" to be my problem before I realized my problems were due to vaginal atrophy from the high progestin in the pills I had been taking for so long. Basically, a dilator looks like a dildo, to tell you the truth. My dilators were made of glass, because 1) the dilators my gynecologist gave me were really uncomfortable and painful, and 2) pyrex is more hygienic. Since I don't need the dilators anymore, I just use one occasionally as an applicator for the olive oil. You can also just coat your finger and paint the oil on digitally.
