Hi my names Laura and im just turned 20. I was recently diagnosed with endo but because i was told after i had just had the op the gyna didnt really give me much information.
I was just wondering if there is anyone that could give me any advise as to what to do from here. I've read things on the internet but they mainly say what to do leading upto finding out, not a lot is really said about the after part.
Any help or advise would be fantastic. Thank you! xXx

Hi. Welcome. My advise would be to talk to your doctor so that you an get more details on what she/he found and if she/he removed any endo. Also extend of your endo, stage? Changing the diet has help a number of people here in the forum. Also do your own research, not everything works for everyone and you may want to check the Alternative are in the forum, there are a lot of useful info there.

He did say that he removed endo but he didnt actually say what stage it was at. When my report gets sent to my Dr's i am going to go and see him.
Thanks for your advice

As soon as the lap was done, your gynae probably sent a letter to your doctor advising of the procedure and outcome as well as the places it was found, and what was done during your op. I wasn't told either and only found out by accident when my doctor found the letters. It didn't state the stage, I just looked up the stages online and deduced mine was stage I when I had my lap as it was mostly deposited around my uterus but not as far as on my ovaries. You may learn a little of what your gynae thinks of you through the letters too! Hope this helps x
