Just thought I'd start a thread in case anyone wants to get an idea of what this enzyme can do related to endo.
I still use natural progesterone cream, as it takes the edge off of my pain a bit. I've also tried Chinese Bitters during the day with a decent, but not consistent, rate of success. I've used Coptis at night before bedtime with almost complete success (many nights slept thru until wake up time).
So I was looking for something I thought would help me get thru my "twitchiness" during the day at work. This may be it - only time will tell.
I am on my 3rd day of taking 3 capsules 3x a day (hmm...wonder if all those 3's mean something? ;D ). According to the directions, if I don't feel anything happening by the 3rd day, it's suggested to take another capsule, making it 4 caps, 3x per day.
I believe I'm already feeling something. My twitchiness is still around, yet I've felt some calm, pain-free moments. It does say on the website that it's possible the detox could give you headaches, nausea, and something else which I can't remember at the moment! (Daggone.) I have a slight headache right now, but the bit of nausea I had earlier this morning is gone.
BTW, the capsules aren't huge, and can be downed quite easily with a glass/cup of water.
The only thing I am tinkering with are what times I'm going to take the caps. Because I woke up during the night after my first day on these (and having the last caps 1 hour after my 6:00pm dinner), I decided having them that late in the day doesn't work for me. So I had the last caps yesterday at about 2:30 in the afternoon.
I still woke up in the middle of the night, although later than the night before. I think the bedroom was a little too warm, which probably didn't help.
So today I've decided I'm going to have my last caps as soon as I get home. After that, I'll walk the dogs with my hubby, which will take about 20 minutes, then wait another 10 minutes before eating (it says on the bottle to take these on an empty stomach; wait 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal). I'll see how that works and will post here again tomorrow to see if I slept thru the night (very important for me, as I get up so early for work).
According to the Vitalzym website, it will take about 3 months to reach an activation dose, so I'm willing to wait and see if it works. I'll post back here as often as I can to see how I've (hopefully) progressed.
