Happy Easter everyone.
I'm still in my pj's haha. My Mom just called and she's on her way here. Were going out to dinner tonight. I already scoped out their GF menu and know what I'm going to order.

I spent today with my family and extended family. My uncle is recovering from a brain aneurysm and got to spend Easter with the family. He should be out of the rehab facility next week already! He was in good spirits and was excited to be out. I also got to spend lots of snuggle time with my 7 month old niece. She's all smiles and quite a flirt. For me, family is good in small doses but I would have loved to spend more time with the niece. Sigh.

I hope you all had a beautiful or boozy Easter holiday, depending on which way you lean. I make a point of watching Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ, it's based on a very biased set of visions that a nun had but still...that long walk up the hill, and the way it won't seem to end, how He keeps falling. The relentless beating and Pilate's disappointing choices in the face of Claudia's torment over it all... that film has me crying like a baby. Artfully done I think.
