so i am attempting to cut out dairy, bread and sugar out of my diet this week....and so far, it is ROUGH. I went to this trader joe's organic like store, expecting to find some good alternatives but didn't have much luck i have found eating dried mango as a snack is good, but it also has a lot of sugar in it....i am doing the luna bars for breakfast since it is whole grains, and veggie sandwiches for lunch....non gluten tortilla chips with amazing salsa as a snack..... does anyone have reccomendations for salty snacks, that wouldn't be bad....? i know it may be impossible, but i thought i would ask!! thanks!

im gluten, dairy and sugar free and find it really easy... i think its because i know the minute i have them i immediately get chronic diarrhea! i find everything i used to eat replaceable... i buy gluten free potato chips when i get a salt fixation but i have to cut them out too as high fat foods make me go as well! i am a salt addict in general and normally have food with my salt. there are alot of gluten free snacks like biscuits and i find munching on some dried fruit helps too.

olives...mmm...that does sound like a good one. didn't think of that. although i would eat probably a whole can! i have tried gringo tortilla chips (not sure if they are popular) they are gluten free and really good, and i got this all natural salsa to eat with it....that is just a little hard to bring into work....i found some kind of rice crisp chips, they were okay but had a funny aftertaste.

Stay away from the Gherkins if you're watching sugar! Dag nabit! Now I'm craving Gherkins and can't have them, either! LOL

nuts are a good snack, salted cashews help my salt cravings, and can help if i feel a bit nauseated as well.
