When I went back home to Canada I was able to see the bodies exhibit. It was very interesting and I got alot out of it. The body is a very complex machine - I couldn't believe how everything looked - definately have a much better appreciation and respect for the workings of things. It wasn't gross or offensive at all. I learned alot as well about human development as a fetus - from as little as 9 weeks you can see defination for fingers/toes/eye slits and even eyebrows! If any of you have this exhibit in your area I'd encourage you to check it out!

I saw that back in '07 when I was pregnant. I was also shocked to see the insane definition on an embryo's body/face!

I had the book Spook and After We Die the Life and Times of The Human Cadaver I thought of the Bodies Exhibit and now that I am a official doc according to me lol I am facinated with all of this.
Spook is really interesting gives the science views of after life she starts with reincarnation in India it is humor mixed with science of our body.
I have no idea what is bringing me to this bizzare facination.

I started reading and already got the research bug in me about preserving human organs to help others live. Such controversary over it but Norman L Cantor addresses it in his book and of course I had to hop on the website for the company that does it. Alcor yep girls they freeze to later help others. www.alcor.org/
