So I picked up some of the M.... whatever it is dizzy medicine...here its Dramamine II. Walmart does carry it, but its pretty pricey. Surprisingly tho, Walgreens has a generic of it that gives you about twice the amount for the same price, so I picked some up. They market it as being "less drowsy" than the original, altho I've never had a problem with Dramamine making me sleepy. But I suppose being an antihistamine, it could make some drowsy. I also picked up some ginger caps that I'm going to start taking daily to see if I can get off not having to take the antinausea so often...I know it can't be good for me.

If I don't have anything on hand for nausea, or if it takes a while to kick in, I lay on a cold, hard surface, as long as I can stand it. It's especially effective if you have nausea because of fever, but it works for me without fever, as well. Opening a window and breathing very cold, fresh air is good, too, if you can stand it. All of the anti-nausea meds generally work for me, but that's something I do if I have mild nausea or have to wait on the meds to work.

If you don't want to live on the Zofran Jenaya open a alcohol wipe take a wiff it helps. Zofran was a miracle drug for me I miss being able to take it. My ob gave me the alcohol tip. Glad you feel better:)

OO I'll try that. I actually like the way rubbing alcohol smells. Reminds me of my old hospital days. LOL
I don't use zofran very much at all. I think it has been about a month since I've needed one.
Thanks for the tip!

What is the average cost of a Zofran prescription? I plan on asking my dr. if I can try it.

Phenergan is a little more reasonable in cost. I remember getting my zofran filled the first time and saying wait phenergan was so cheap. Both work I took phenergan the entire time I was pregnant with Jacob it made me very drowsy. I had a nurse joke with me I was such a calm mom well I had been drugged for 9 months! Oh and Jacob was a calm baby too. The side effect from the drug I swear had something to do with that.
