Hello Ladies, I am glad to see that it is definitely possible to get pregnant even with Endo. My husband and I really would like to get pregnant but I always had this feeling, that no matter how long we tried it wasn't going to happen and then after a year and a half of trying we got the lap that finally found out I had Endo, but I have had the sypmtoms since I was 12 and now I am 27, I am not sure of the chances that we will be able to concieve now that they took it out. They also found that I had cervical stenosis, and tried to fix that too, but my husband is really hopeful. It is taking me a little longer to get on board, I guess. If you all have any information, I am very grateful. Thank you all and have a Great Holiday. Lori

supposedly, best chance to Conceive is right after an excision... But depends on what you have done. If they just take out some of it, it's not going to help you long term but still might make pregnancy possible. I had it all excised and my tubes/ovaries worked on and my uterus had endo in it too, so hopefully that will all heal up and work properly, but on the other hand I do feel releif from the major amount of endo that was taken out as well. So even if I don't get pregnant, I am still glad I had surgery.

Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wexler? It's a great tool to learning your body, and though you have endo and it may make things more complicated, you can at least have a leg up by knowing your body inside and out!

If it's comforting at all, I have had endo since I was 11, only had surgery once when I was 21, had PCOS too by the time I was 25, and still got pregnant twice at about the age of 27. The only drug--aside from painkillers--that I had ever taken was a progestin shot over a 10 month period when I was 22. The first pregnancy I miscarried, but that is common in first pregnancies regardless of endo, and I got pregnant again within 2 months. Carried my daughter right up to her due date with no complications. So don't give up.
