Can you afford to take the time off unpaid? I'm not sure what that would to do your status for health insurance, but FMLA would protect your job. This is a terrible choice to have to make, work yourself sick to be able to have surgery. This must be an incredible burden right now :/
Your gut is probably right, it is probably something other than a strain. Can you call your doc again? Hugs!

Oh, Keri, such a hard, hard place to be in. Your husband's job provides no insurance?

Thanks girls my husband is a attorney on his own tho not with a firm so the insurance would be very expensive. I provide for the family so that the burden will not be on him. I am fortun ate to even have insurance sorry for the rant earlier. I made it thru work today. I was to clap & dance when I make it a entire day. I feel like I am accomplished something. Karen they did a urine test nut tomorrow I'm asking for something to determine if it is a kidney infection. Gp blames everything on endo. Yes its possible it is the bladder endo but it could be something else too. Anyone ever feel we get looked at like only endo patients? I hear well endometriosis will always cause you problems. Ummm yes I know this but I have multiple problems. Not just endo. I will see tomorrow what they do. Thanks again gilrs for the advice. I wish the insurance issue was different but I can't change it. For now I have to deal with what I have & be thankful for it. I have 2 co workers with cancer if they can work I can push myself to work too.

Finally am getting excision surgery in August maybe sooner, Dr. Jones in Columbus Oh he and another surgeon will be doing a 2 for one surgery. Bladder, bowel wll be excised and ovaries are coming out. I have went to all lengths to keep everything but it is time to remove the evil ovaries so they can join my angry uterus wherever that is. I am ready for this and for years have put other people & my job before my health out of guilt and denial that I am sick. I hope this works I am staying as positive as I can knowing how hard surgery is for me. Lots of support from friends and family too. When menapause hits me I will deal with that too I am ready for the change. Lots of reading & knowledge has prepared me also knowing if I need to vent or need support I have my amazing ENDO girls here to help. Thank You!

Hey, Keri, good to hear from you. I'm sorry you're headed for another surgery, but it sounds like you'll be in good hands. I'm glad you're putting yourself first. Is work understanding? Will you be able to take time off to recover?
Love you lots, Keri!

Keri, I hope that this surgery helps give you some of your life back. A librarian with so much spunk and sass certainly deserves to be able to feel better!

I'm glad you are putting yourself first and I really hope surgery can help. I love surgeries with more than one surgeon- get in at the same time and get as much bang for your surgery buck! Good luck, let us know when you get a date.

Wheeew its been crazy. Karen yes work actually came to me and asked for me to resign I said no and they gave me 3 choices take a leave which means surgery, wait til sick time is done and I would be fired if I call off or go to sub status with zero benefits. I of course went straight for the surgery to keep my job I can be off 12 weeks uinpaid yes it is going to be a financial burden my insurance will have to be paid out of pocket. But on the flip side I could finally get some relief. It is kinda the only option I have right now. So August 16th I go back under in Columbus with Dr. Jones and a specialist for my bladder will be there for back to get the endo off that. A bowel doc will be on stand by just in case. WOW 3 docs for one surgery I kinda feel special. Thanks girls I love ya all and thank you for all the support! You are all awesome! xoxoxo

You deserve to have appropriate treatment. If that means 3 surgeons at one time then that's what you should get. I hate how you have been treated through all of this. I worry about you so much! I hope that this surgery helps give you some relief finally. I think you have been through enough suffering.

I hope Keri doesn't mind me posting. She's having surgery again tomorrow. If you could, please keep her in your thoughts and send some positive energy her way, k? If we hear anything, we'll keep you updated.
