My husband is jewish and we celebrate all holidays with him even tho my son and I are not jewish. I was married in the temple but did not convert however the jewish faith is dear to me and I enjoy the holidays and being with our family. Every year we light the candles each night and have family night. I also invite my family over for a Hanukkah dinner. I cook latkes with my husband and even tho my family is not jewish we all enjoy it. This year is a little different as I am so sick the fist night of the holiday is tomorrow the last night is the day of my surgery the 8th. I will celebrate the holiday as much as I can. Of course no latkes for me this year. It is ok tho leftover latkes are good too and maybe when I can eat someone will bring me some. I posted a link so anyone who is not familar with the holiday can read about it. Its a good story and a inspiraation for what little we have sometimes can go a long way~ ~Happy Hanukka~ judaism.about.com/od/holidays/a/hanukkah.htm
