Yeah I was due one on Monday but I couldn't drink more than sips so had to cancel with my bladder being in hibernation. I guess with all the stomach swelling an endometrioma would make sense but then with how I reacted favourably to antibiotics, wouldn't the fallopian thing make sense. And the doctor who examined me and said it was my left tube, would he not have detected a cyst that is big enough to mess with my nerves? I try to guess too much I should really stop because it gets me nowhere. Oh but the doc did say this to cheer me up (next period was due over Christmas, bummer) that I can take the pill as long as I need to, the sign that I need to stop for a period is when I get breakthrough bleeding, which is my body saying 'I'm full to capacity, lets have a clear-out' It makes me angry in hindsight that my GP, the ignoramus, threatened to withold more tablets if I did not have a break when he said so. I guess he did what he thought was best but that was mean and used with the excuse of the Hippocratic oath 'first do no harm'

Agreed! I will never see him again, I refuse to now. The lady GP I see most, she doesn't seem to know what to do with me but she's sympathetic and helps wherever she can, she was even the one who told me a while back that they are doing studies to see how long a woman can safely take the pill for, and not to worry about breaking every 3 months. So I have 2 doctors words over his, the lady GP and the lady gynae. I mean this man tried to tell me that periods don't affect endo. WTF. In most cases except for post meno and post hyster or girls who have it from their first period... it is the basis of the disease. The final word was 'break for a period if you get breakthrough bleeding, and as long as you have 2 periods a year, you're good' - that suits me

I had my scan and nothing seemed to come up, it was a student with a consultant supervising and she didn't point anything out to him so it looks like nothing was seen as cause for concern, get my results on Friday from the GP. They located my ovaries easily so no TV was required. I'm kinda frustrated now. I went straight to work but when I thought about it this morning properly I bust out crying. I wish I knew what was going on. I hold out in hope of the next appointment giving me answers but now the scan has shown nothing, what can I look to? I don't want to have an infected tube or an endometrioma but I want to know what it is. I am going to look like a freaking liar that I can barely get out of bed for 2 hours after I wake up, with the pain or the weak feeling in my lower half but no-one knows why. Surgery for the sake of diagnosis/investigation is not something I want to go through when I've been opened 3 times in just under 5 years already.

I honestly don't know to be honest. It's been weighing on my mind all day, I have no answers and it's had me annoyed since I woke up. I usually have an answer for things but now I just want to start throwing furniture.
