I think most vits and supplements can come in different forms, it tends to be down to absorbablity and quality. When I had magnesium supplements it was in a combo with Vit D.

ok here's the deal.... one of the kiwis, I think hopeful healer (heather?) cant remember but she was way into taking magphos, a cell salt, for cramping. I thought it was regular magnesium, like in tablets, so kept looking in stores, never found it.... then when jenaya so kindly said it was mag phosPHATE, i googled that, and found it as cell salts, which are teeny tiny little tabs you stick under your tongue. Picked some up. Now what's wierd is, I have cramps all the time, and they really did affect that! but my hubby has daily 'cluster' headaches, really sharp pain with a sudden onset, and the cell salts are for that typle of sudden stabbing pain, well 2 out of three times, so far, these have worked for him IMMEDIATLY! the third time they didn't work, but when I asked him about it, he said it was more of a sinus-y, different pain... Anyhow will post that thread where i first heard of this when I have a minute. Otherwise, wish I brought that little bottle to work, cuz i have a sudden onset stabbing GUT PAIN RIGHT NOW lol. anyhow.... more later.

Jenaya, taking magphos salts really helps me manage migraine pain as well as endo pain, so maybe that might help you and it definitely DOES NOT mess with anything. I take maintenance 4x salts am and pm and then a heap when I am actually in pain or at the onset of migraine. It helps hugely as the magnesium helps sort out the cramping. They're natural and whatever your body doesn't need gets flushed. Good luck you guys. H. this is where I found it, under migraines and endo.... it was Helinor! not hopeful.... Pretty I'd already discovered the mineral salts magnesium phosphate (mag phos) for bloating during period and that helps too. . Here's another from kayeh.... P www.1-800homeopathy.com/cell-salts.html a link to a homeopathic site that sells cell salts. lol she sells sea shells by the sea shore!
