I have my kit, just keep forgetting to do it (because you can't eat or drink or anything for a half an hour before preforming it). But my aunt did hers and its an absolutely awesome concept that I really hope does help those in the future. Especially if it is genetic and my daughters could end up with it or something like that.

I found this, and I thought I'd share it with you all. I entered in the study already. They sent to DNA kit within days and it wasn't a hassle at all. I am very interested to see how this all turns out. Hopefully it will reveal more info and possibly a cure! Anywho, i thought I'd let someone else know about it!

has anyone in the UK signed up for it? I am wondering if the Docs will give copies of the medical records for free, as they usually charge a hefty fee for supplying such information, and much as I would llike to take part, there is no way I can afford to pay to get my medical records, to send to the US.
Or do the research people recompense expenses when incurred by overseas volunteers?

If you just fill in as much as you know about your family history and medical history (one of the papers asks how you have been treated for endo, i.e. procedure, date, doctor, facility, doctors office and number) then its totally free! thats what i did, i also can not afford to submit all my medical records! So i hear ya there. Thanks for combining these Karen, i think they are the same!
