I keep finding pictures Seth took of me from the hospital days. I had no idea that he took these. I needed a good laugh so I am posting one of the funniest pics I found. For some reason I was wearing my sunglasses! No idea why? Seth also told me that even in the hospital I insisted on my Chanel and jewlery! I am pretty sure I prob had not been able to even eat or walk but I had my Chanel. I have few other pictures of my Hospial Christmas.... Decorated trees with syringes. LOL I have come a long way. Even If I am still sick atleast I am home Attachments:

Had a huge post about this but it didn't show up too exhausted to post it but I will break it down. 1. Never hesitate when a friend is hurt or in need. 2. Love those who love you back 3. If you hear hospital, sick, accident rush time is important and those we love need us in those tragic situations. 4. Exhausted but wanted that means you have touched someone so touch back show up if even for a hour. 5. Live like a princess every so often it feels good even if its not your style try it for a minute and SMILE! Attachments:

I hit 100 pounds:) I was able to fill out a dress for a party this weekend. I actually looked like I fit in it. I had wore the same dress at a wedding in the summer and it hung off me. I was a little bloated but I was happy to jump on the scale and see 100! I may have lost a little this weekend but to see I had gained and have wanted it for so long made me feel like I accomplished a goal! It took forever to do! I think my dedication to supplements and healthy eating has contributed to it. Picture was taken for a birthday party I had for my friends 35th she is the tall brunette in the center. She is loves vintage so we had a 50's style party at a very old school event center. The place had the lamps with the fringe and everything. Back in the day some amazing artist played there. The hall walls are covered in autographed pictures. One of my favorite parties to plan. Next is my breast cancer awareness fundraiser.... Attachments:

I lost the weight....had a day of all day bathroom trips... but it is ok up and downs right?....I have a new feel good video check it out. It is the Leftover Cuties theme song from a new show a friend turned me onto. It is called The Big C and lots of laughs and a tears just like life. As you can tell by the title it is about a woman who finds out she has cancer and keeps it from her family. Laura Linny is the star and I love her! It is on Showtime. It is worth watching I am learning alot and am only on second episode. Life is just so unpredictable but what a ride at the end we will all have stories to tell:) Her story is one I think most of us can relate to even tho we do not have cancer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxZL0LIxK-Y~Game Called Life~

Hi girls I did my Breast Cancer charity event and the walk is on sunday. Jacob's birthday is tommorrow and I am feeling alot of happiness. I am a lucky girl even if I am sick I have to remind myself that I can do it. We had so much fun and the library is full of pink scarves to go to the woman at the local hospital for chemo. Giving really makes my life feel like I am doing something other than being sick. I have the reception coming up for the patrons that made the scarves I am photographing it and may end up in a local magazine. Another goal of mine could be met! Crossing my fingers they pick something of mine. I will post a pick of some of the event for everyone to see.
Jacob will be 12 and this year I am not in the hospital of doing a bowel prep! I made him a birthday sign with a skateboarder on it that is his thing now. He asked for bbq with family for his party so everyone is coming over this weekend. He is at that kinda awkward stage in life now.......its ok tho I still love just as much as the day he was born. My friend came into work today she was diagnosed with the same cancer Steve Jobs had. I saw a vibrant energetic woman tonight! She had surgery 6 weeks ago to get a lot of the cancer. Two surgeries and a treatment that will help her she is giving me a great lesson to keep going no matter what. She reminds me of Jenaya.
Her and I exchange postcards we have done it for years and we have a qout wall at work. This months display is for her. I asked everyone to write down a favorite quote and I am using each one to make a window display that looks like a old journal just like she has and keeps her memories and quotes in. When she comes back to work she will have a window full of inspiration...... When life gives you lemons.....make lemonade;) Someone at work gave me this one for the window I love it!

59 scarves for chemo patients were donated this year to our Stitch For the Cure program we had the reception Monday. I will be taking one basket to Mercy Cancer Center and another woman who has breast cancer is taking the others to Aultman hospital. I am very proud that I have a community and a library that continues to give back to woman suffering. Each scarf is rolled and we place a card in it. ~May the beauty of this scarf give you comfort during your cancer journey. I pray you wear this scarf for many years to come~ I have met some pretty awesome woman with this program! All of them have touched me in a way some may never know. My patrons and community keep me going. True inspirations! Attachments:
