So I am currently on my second shot of Lupron (every 3 months--last one was at the end of January) and my gyno put me on Alesse for add back therapy. I feel I am getting worse this second time around, and am now having breakthrough bleeding (or at least I think that's what it is)...sorry if it's TMI but it's really dark blood (brown pretty much) and I've been so naseous too lately but I think that's b/c of the Tramacet my gyno put me on for pain. Is breakthrough bleeding normal, even though I'm on Lupron and Alesse??? I've had the bleeding for over a week now. Alesse seems to have made me moodier, more depressed and now the pain is coming back with a vengence! And my doc had to prescribe me detrol to control my bladder again! Help!! Any advice is welcome!

I know that breakthrough bleeding can be a symptom during the first 3-4 month on Lupron, which is not the case for you, and if you do not receive the dose on time it can cause breakthrough bleeding as well as ovulation (which can occur in conception of not careful).
Did you get the injection late? if not then breakthrough bleeding is def. a time you need to contact your gyno because it could be a sign of something else.

Also, Alesse can also cause breakthrough bleeding the first 3 months of use. The symptoms can cause nausea and vomiting, did you just recently start Alesse? That may be the reason for you nausea.
But either way In would still suggest calling your physician/GYNO

No I didn't get my Lupron shot late...if anything it was a day or two early which the doc said was okay as long as it wasn't late. The pain feels like I'm getting my period (which I haven't had since November 2009) and it's just getting to be insane. I have my lap scheduled for April 26th but honestly don't know if I can even hold out until then! I was thinking that the Alesse (21 pill pack) might be the cause of the vomiting but I'm on my 3rd pack and I've been fine up until now. That's why I thought it might be the Tramacet but I never vomited like that on it before.

I think it's best to call your doc on that one. Even if you can't get in right away, at least see if you can talk to a nurse. Hope they're able to help you out!

Haven't been able to get ahold of my gyno...I guess I'm just really worried! No idea why I'm feeling like I'm getting my period when I haven't had it in 4 months now!

Yes, you need immediate medical attention. Please, please, please go in, and don't take no for an answer if they tell you everything is ok!

Well it was only a bit of blood and it was two days ago. I just can't seem to eat since then and I've lost about 10 pounds in the last week....bad right??

Yes, that's not good. If I were you I'd either go to hospital or turn up at the doc's and demand to see someone.
