Hmm, I've never heard of granulomas before! A quick search on Wikipedia came upw tih the fololwing:
"Granuloma is a medical term for a ball-like collection of immune cells which forms when the immune system attempts to wall off substances that it perceives as foreign but is unable to eliminate. Such substances include infectious organisms such as bacteria and fungi as well as other materials such as keratin, suture fragments and vegetable particles [1] [2] [3]. A granuloma is therefore a special type of inflammatory reaction that can occur in a wide variety of diseases, both infectious and non-infectious. The adjective "granulomatous" refers to diseases or inflammatory reactions that are characterized by granulomas."
Have you been diagnosed with endo? There's research out there that suggests endo might be an autoimmune disorder. There's a very long, in-depth scientific explanation of it in "Endometriosis: The Complete Reference for Taking Charge of Your Health". I don't know that there's a mention of granulomas, and it certainly may be a stretch, but might be a place to start? Sorry I can't be of more help!

ive had pain since i was 15 but wasnt not "diagnosed" surgicly until i was 20. ive had two laps by two different drs and they both removed endo. however the last surgery i had in 08 showed a mass on my liver that my dr said he wasnt sure if it was endo or not. over the past month ive been going thru old medical files for an SSI hearing i had last week and i found out that when i was 17 i had a ct scan done and in the report it said i had a granuloma on my liver... no one ever told me anything about it. so then i went and looked at my first lap surgical report (from three years later) and the dr put that my liver was "unremarkable". i just have no clue what is going on inside me anymore. no one in my life really understands what im going through, and its only getting worse as time goes on. i used to be really active and for the past 11 years i havent been able to do anything. i just dont know what to do anymore.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure what to tell you about granulomas! Perhaps one of the other girls has a bit more knowledge? Oh, and be sure to post an intro post! We'd love to get to know you more and provide you with some support!
