Can anyone recommend any decent self help courses, or sites or books? Even if it's just a site that gives you a better insight into the disease and follow on problems so that you start to understand and thereafter manage your problem. If anyone would like to share their self-help journeys, whether you're making up as you go along or following the advice of a book etc, you can post here.

A couple of years ago I was introduced to a friend of a friend who happened to be a Lifestyle Coach. I worked with her for around 6 months, and found it a really positive experience. It's not about counselling, just about evaluating where you are in life, what you want, and how to make the changes to get it. I could 'coach' you based on the material, if you like :-)

Only just seen this sorry Helen! Yeah I would greatly appreciate that, thank you! Finally got a call regarding my referral the other day, they're sending me some self-help stuff out which I'm looking forward to starting. Goodbye co-dependant, weepy, flumpy old me!
