Happy Thanksgiving! Sorry its a day late. Anyone get any good deals shopping today? I do not shop on black friday but my hubby does. LOL a little backwards huh! I do know that when he called he said OLD NAVY was having a huge sale! I love to shop but not with all the people that are out today.

I did a bit of shopping this morning. I NEVER by Christmas gifts on this day, only stuff for myself! Got a sweet smart phone, only had to pay for tax + $70, but I'll get a $70 rebate so I'm stoked that it's essentially free, got 700 count sheets for $30, and some jeans at Old Navy for $15 each. I hate the crowds, so I did some early shopping when I woke up. Late enough that the stores were already open with the fanatics, but early enough that the second round of people was just starting.

We don't have this I would love a pre Christmas holiday sale! The best thing here though is that the New Year sales start just before Christmas so you can buy everyone more presents for the same amount

That coat is so cute Karen! I am going to order alot of gifts online. Seth just went out again with Jacob to shop. LOL he is so into it! The stuff on Jacob's list are not things that are on sale or ever will be go figure. Any other mom's have kids with expensive taste? The ski pass alone is enough to break the bank!

Yeah, most of my shopping this year will be online. I told my family that I expect Christmas to be a bit low key this year so I won't have a ton to buy. My only frustration is that I never get a Christmas list from these people until the last minute. So frustrating!

Oooh very nice Karen! $40 is like super super cheap!! Cherry I can live without any store other than Debenhams. I work/live pretty close to the Metrocentre in Gateshead, and if I say ''m going to the Metrocentre' I actually mean 'I'm going to Debenhams'. It's all I ever really bother with. Clothes, shoes, undies, cosmetics, home........got everything I need!

Got to revamp this thread too cause I know we have shoppers on here. Seth is going out again this year to get a few electronic things. I on the other hand think I may attempt homemade gifts. I am thinking of painting a picture for my sisters. Not sure tho I have to see how steady I can get my shaky hands or maybe a few framed prints of my photography they all want me to show more but I dont. Not sure yet but I do know Hubby will be out that day it cracks me up. He is jewish and I can get him to dress as Santa and shop for Christmas.

Anyone get anything good yesterday? I woke up at 4 o'clock (no alarm...) and figured why not go out and see what was open. Got a nice purse and a necklace (1/2 off each), some undies (boy cut, on sale), some more 700 thread count sheets (more than 1/2 off), a down comforter for $25, some movies for $4 each, and a steam mop to clean my floors for only $50. I wasn't planning on spending that much and confess I got sucked into the whole impulse shopping, but figured since I had myself on such a strict budget for such a long time and wanted all (but the movies and necklace) for a while, I was ok with it. Plus, I've been working some overtime so I can justify the added cost. At least that's what I tell myself.

Hey but isn't it nice to get these nice things home and realise you got them at a bargain price. Good for you for treating yourself!
