To those in the US, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Anyone have any big plans?
For everyone else, Thanksgiving in the US can usually be summed up by three things:
1. 4 day weekend 2. Eating/drinking way too much 3. Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving when all the ridiculous sales, early store hours, and crazy crowds at the mall kick off Christmas shopping season.
Me? I'm off to visit my G-ma in Illinois. My dad and I will join her and my uncle's family for the big feast, then I'm back home to spend the rest of the weekend cleaning my house, drinking, and relaxing!

Sounds like loads of Fun! Have a safe trip, and enjoy all the feasting!
I always like American Thanksgiving because its the start of all the holiday movies on TV (for those of us who leech off american TV feeds)

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends here. I used to live in a border town with Michigan and have always worked for American clients. I've ALWAYS been jeleous of the 4 day weekends, her in Canada we only get a 3 day one. I love black friday for all the crazy sales, however, as for Christmas shopping, i've been done now for almost 2 months. Everything is wrapped, tagged and ready to go.

Happy thanksgiving ladies, big hugs. We don't start our hols for another month, boo! We should have a thanksgiving day here to coincide though, T'hanksgiving for offloading some puritan guys onto another continent and to the Native Americans for making leather clothes come back in vogue and for giving us some hot Native American mix men on the TV ie Adam Beech and Taylor Lautner and his buddies in New Moon' Pamela, you are so similar to me, but in the presents being wrapped and ready, we are opposites!

So thanksgiving was fun except for the horny dog humping my leg. But what creeps me out more is that while the dog kept rubbing it's balls on me, my husband's uncle kept encouraging it saying, "yeah boy get that. You know a good bitch when you see one." ummm?? Anyone else find that completely gross?
The turkey was good though. lol

Well, what a lovely uncle. Totally gross. Could be worse - at least it was the dog, not your uncle, rubbing his balls on your legs...
