I really love other accents, too many to name, two of my old workmates had the most gorgeous Scottish accents and I love listening to Penelope Cruz speaking English. But one that kills me and puts bad ideas in my head about people is the Birmingham accent, Brummies! Jamelia is hilarious as a guest on panel shows but I think half of the reason I laugh is because of her full on Brum accent. I also hate hearing Scousers on the telly! Home grown cringe.

Brummy accent is flippin awful. Love the scouse accent - Geordie on TV is cringeworthy too but thankfully wor Cheryl and little Joe aren't too bad. And you gotta love Ant and Dec. But local people being intervierwed on news for example........urrghh. I too love Scottish accent. Some American actors' accents that are so neutral you can't really tell where they're from. Rob Lowe in Brothers and Sisters. Yum. But I really don't like the whiney Florida drawl you sometimes here with tourists. Sorry gals.

Rob Lowe, droooooool. I find that weird too that there are some people with accents you can't place. What is Lloyd Grossman all about?! Saw some terrible drama called Small Island and I quite like the Jamaican accent!

Anthony Hopkins, I thought for years had the perfect English accent, and he turns out to be Welsh. Cue embarrassment. But to this day I love his voice and the way he speaks! I can't place where they're from, but American accents from the south, are so sexy on a man. And when Scandinavians speak English it always sounds so lovely.

I love an American Southern accent on a man (what can I say though I am a country girl) and I love the English accent.

See people who speak English as their second language always sound amazing! Shortie if you came here you'd be right confused cos there are so many variations of the English accent on this tiny island. It's ridiculous how much... when we were served in Macy's in New York the girl at the counter thought we were German!

Yeah Cherry that is what makes English accent so neat and hot to me. Cause it is different in each place that speaks that language. Just like the American accent it is different from the way I speak to the way ppl in New York speak. In New York I would be called a hillbilly cause my accent. But I love my accent I have that southern draw when I talk. When I worked for Directv in the call centers I would talk to ppl in like California and they would love my accent and could always tell that I was country to the bone. Then other ppl couldnt understand me cause my accent is so thick with a bad southern draw.
