Care to share your experiences seeing live musicians or comedians? I've only been to 2 which is kinda sad by local standards. I saw John Legend and Damien Rice, both were amazing and utterly heart-wrenching in their energy and talent. Not seen any live comedians yet but I looove watching stand-up on TV!

Was Lisa Hanigan on tour with Damien, too?
If you ever get to see The Frames / The Swell Seasons, it's SUCH a good show. By the end, you feel like you're best friends with the band, and the music and stories are incredibly beautiful and moving. At three of the four shows I've been to, at one point, he/the band will step away from the microphone, unplug the guitars, and just play at the edge of the stage and belt it out for all to hear. At the last show, we were a few rows from the very top of the huge place and it STILL gave me chills! My friend and I left the show in complete awe, once again.

By the way, I'm a HUGE fan of live music...
Some of the bigs ones I've seen: U2 twice, Dave Mathews Band, Pink Floyd, John Mayer three times, I know I'm forgetting some...
Saw Seinfeld do his live act a few years ago. It was ok. I've seen better live comedians at the local comedy club, though.

No Lisa had just left 6 months before and he didn't even mention the issue on stage, but to my surprise it didn't take away from the performance. I'd love to see TV on the Radio, Lady Gaga and Ray LaMontagne live. And the Arctic Monkeys, I looove them, they're music and comedy in one. Ultimates would be Bob Marley and Freddie Mercury. Makes me sad that I'll never see those guys in concert cos their music is fantastic.

Ooh, I'd love to see Bon Iver live as he's amazing. Had a chance to get some crappy tickets a few months ago, but already had tickets to another show that day...
