My name is Karla, I was diagnosed with endo in 2009. I live with my hubby and three kids in a tiny town in northern central washington where my husband is a paramedic. I work as a CNA (nursing assistant) and ERT (emergency room techician) at a local hospital part time. I'm working on becoming a nurse and will hopefully get into the program this fall. I'm also a music teacher and play piano and sing regularly with my worship team at my church, as well as writting my own music when I can.
The board means to me, that I have ladies who I can talk to about BM's and UTI's and horrible things with out criticism or embarrassement. Its a uniquely unparrelled resource! Thanks girls...

Hey girls I'm Gemma, I'm 28 and live in sunny Newport (!) in South Wales in the UK. I still have not been officially diagnosed as am waiting for a lap, but we know that I am an endo grrrl I am in pain for most of the time which is difficult to deal with in all honesty and have bowel problems, as well as fatigue which has crept up on me. I have been advised that I may need to have a temporary colostomy bag if the endo has penetrated through the vaginal wall and into the bowel. No-one wants their intestine poking through their tummy, but it is what it is and I refuse to be brought down by it!! I live with my wonderful boyfriend who is incredibly supportive of me, his mad dog Dax and my insane kittie Perci. I am really into music and spend a lot of time going to gigs, which I love! I have discovered a love of cooking (sort of!) since I have been on the endo diet, and am now starting to grow my own veg. I also read - my degree was in English Literature so I have a mini library in the house! I work for a law firm, but am in dire need of a career change. This is what I will be concentrating on when I know where I am with my endo. I found this board towards the end of 2010 and I am soooo happy I found you guys!! I feel like I've formed and am forming some wonderful friendships and the love and support you all give is amazing. So that's me in a nutshell
