I have stage 4 endo. I had a laproscopy to remove two large cysts and was put on Lupron for 7 months. The Lupron "wore off" a couple of days ago and recenctly I have been in extreme pain until I went to an Energy Healer. The experience was amazing.
Energy Healers run energy through your body to realign your own energy to get your body to heal itself. When I came to her I could not walk without being in an extreme amount of pain. After ONE session 80% of my endo pain is GONE. Truely AMazing!!! I'm going again in a couple of days to get rid of the rest of this crap. Seriously, I feel so free right now. I highly recommend it!

amalongi, I'd love to hear more about this, if you have the time to go into more details. What exactly happened? How long did it take? I've been looking into reiki but don't know much about it.

sequin, It was like going to the doctor you wish you always had. It took two and a half hours. The first hour she asked a lot of questions about myself and my life. The second hour I was on a table. She identified my blocked chakras and then opened them by placing her hand over the chakra. Apparently, Everyone's reactions are different when the energy starts running in them. I just started crying. All the truamas you have ever had in your life literally come to the surface. After she opened my blocked chakras she cleared out all of the bad energy and then she worked on the tough spots. You seriously walk out glowing and pain free. You are kinda tired for the next couple of days and she told me to rest so that my body can continue healing. Keep in mind that I have already altered my diet. Gluten free with lots of fruits and veggies. I still eat meat but it's organic. I also take vitamins , calcium, fish oil and flax seed oil. Your body can heal itself but it needs the tools to do it. The Energy healer just starts the process of healing which is spirtual and physical. You can check our her website, just so you can get a feel of what Energy healing actually is. If you go to an energy healer, make sure that they have the proper credentials b/c there are some fakes around. www.healingtouchhouston.com/

jjuls22, Doesn't it feel sooooo good after they are done? My crown was open but my head to my waist, I was blocked. My right arm was also blocked as well. My healer only charges 160 the first time and then it's 365 for 5. I still can't believe I waited so long to do it!! It was seriously like a miracle. I am so glad someone else is finding relief as well.

i found a psychologist who specializes in energy work, so they bill it under "mental health" which is FABULOUS! the woman herself, is kind of cooky and i really don't feel that comfortable talking to her about my feelings. HAAHA. she told me that she had endo/chocolate cyst many years ago during her thesis at med school due to stress blah blah and that after surgery she cured herself with selenium. HMMMMM i WISH it were that simple. BUUUTTT i figured i need to learn how to relax my mind, "mind over body right?" visual healing, and energy movement might help work better than selenium. She has also told me to use castor oil packs every day to help break down the tissue, i have heard that castor oil takes YEARS to break down adhesions, but what the heck do i know right??? Im glad it worked so well for you the first time!!

i love reiki, and had a full session after my lap which was fabulous. there is a place near my house where you can get a free 15 min reiki session 2x per month, so i try to go there. i'd love to do reiki training myself so i can do it on myself. anyone have experience with this? is it as effective? does it feel as good?
there is also something i recently learned about called EFT (emotional freedom technique) which involves tapping on acupressure points. i find it very relaxing and would recommend it. people can easily do it on themselves and it doesn't require expensive training or anything. they are using this to treat phobias, and soldiers coming back from Iraq with PTSD. you can look up EFT on youtube or go to emofree.com
good luck!

The energy healing has been amazing!!!! I have been to 10 sessions and every time I go I keep feeling better and better! At this point I have absolutely no pain. My back does not hurt anymore and I can sit in a chair for as long as I want and feel no pain. I got my period for the first time again last month (after lupron, it took 3 months) and I only had to take one alieve. I also went off my gluten free diet. Most of the time I forget I even have endo.....actually I don't have it anymore!!! Now I am trying to conceive! This healing process has been quite a journey. I have experienced a lot of emotional release, balancing and have dealt with a lot of issues with self-confidence. I will keep you all posted of when I conceive!

Amalongi, hey sorry I private messaged you before I saw this thread! This sounds so exciting. I wish I wasn't a poor college student though I think for my own sanity I'll search for a practioner here in the DC area. Maybe I'll get lucky?

I recently took Reiki 1 & 2. I have found it to be very relaxing. It doesn't feel quite as powerful when you do it on yourself as when other people do it to you, but it definitely does *something.* The course cost $350 which seemed expensive at first, but now that I can do it whenever I want, I think it was worth it. And I kept in touch with a few people from my class, and we've been practicing long-distance healing on each other, which is quite interesting. So I do have people who could send me reiki if I needed it. Our instructor is based in Southern California but she travels all over to teach. Jigsawyouth, maybe she'll be near you at some point? www.reikimastery.com/A friend of mine does EFT too, and swears by it. I haven't gotten a chance to ask her more about it yet though.

I have some experience with this also. One of the strangest and coolest treatments I've had is NAET therapy, an energy medicine also, which incorporates accupressure as well as treating the body energetically for allergens. It's strange but effective in my experience. I had my practitioner stop mounting, badass cramps in their tracks. They were gone for two hours and then crept back, but I was amazed I even had that 2 hour break. I had to take a break from it for a while but am going back to her next week. We are working our way through various nutrients (Vit C, B, etc) and potential allergens (egg whites, yolks, chicken feathers, etc) that my system is apparently reacting to as toxins or struggling to absorb and metabolize to get the nutrition from. You have to avoid the item for 25 hours after the treatment. Sometimes they don't "clear"for whatever reason, (like I accidentally touch or consume the allergen or nutrient) and I feel like crap for a couple days until I call her and she "sends" a treatment, I avoid the thing again for 25 hrs and sure enough, the next day, I feel better. Weird.. But cool. I have a pretty skeptical mind but this has taught me to be open and give things like this a shot. Dr. Chritiane Northrup (of "Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom") actually recommends NAET for endo. I have been spending lots of money on Chinese herbs and accupuncture, naturopathy and things which aren't working fast enough for my money to hold out, so I'm switching back to NAET because she only charges me $25 per 1 1/2 hr session as I'm on a low income.
I've also learned Reiki levels 1 and 2 and have been doing Reiki on myself nightly for the past month and 1/2 or so. Still had a bad week last week, plus I am feeling so dragged out it's hard to do anything and keep on top of the basics. It was explained to me by my teacher that chronic, long term things can take quite a while to heal and one can experience a sort of "healing crisis" when things seem to get worse before getting better, kind of like doing a detox when all the crap starts to come out and you feel well, crappy for a while until your system clears and catches up. I should also be detoxing as I changed my diet three weeks ago to give up wheat, sugar, dairy, caffeine and nightshades, so this could also have to do with how I'm feeling. So I'm hoping for a better month next month.
Thanks for the reminder about EFT, I'll try this again too.
