I was 11 wks and I started to bleed. I went to the hospital and they did an ultrasound. They found that the fetus did not have a heart beat and the fetus stopped growing at 7 wks. My husband and I were completely devastated. After trying for so many years we got blessed with a miracle and the in a flash it was taken away. How could this happen !! A few days later I started with severe cramps and the Dr. gave me Cytotec to take to help bring on the miscarriage. My cramps were already sever and I took the cytotec. Within 2 hours the sac had come out. I could not believe how severe the cramps were during the 2 hours. I started to get some relief but the pain did not go away. A few days have passed and I am not bleeding as much but the cramps in my uterus are so bad. I have to take 2 naparoxon to help with the pain. The Dr said my uterus is clean and my HCG levels are going down. The pain is due to the endo. I would like to know if anyone has gone through this much pain? How did you feel or what did you experience. I want to try and move on but this pain is making it harder. It is a constant reminder of the horrible loss we just experienced.

Yes, I have... but no one has the exact same experience. Mine was also at 11 weeks and was accompanined by the severe cramps like a very bad period. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Words can never make the pain of losing a child go away and Its something that is always with you. If you haven't already done so I suggest giving yourself some kind of memory for the baby. My hubby and I planted a tree. My best friend named her child that she lost. It may help to give you some closure. I'm sorry that the pain has gone on for so long and I truly feel for you. If you continue to cramp in a few more days and the doctor doesn't suggest it, a D&C may be in order because a small piece of tissue can get missed on an ultrasound and cause severe cramps. I have had good success with the Naproxen and I also recommend a heating pad if you aren't already using it. It is normal for a miscarriage to take several days for the pain and cramps to go away though as hard as that is
