I'd likely guess ovulation, too. I'm surprised Ouchy didn't recommend it yet, but have you read "Taking charge of your fertility"? It's not just for people trying to conceive - it does a very good job of explaining a women's cycle and all the lovely fluids/changes in fluids that your body produces throughout.
Have you changed your BC lately, or gone on/off BC lately, or any sort of hormonal treatment?

Yup...the cervical fluid has nothing to do w/ endo. I second olsenka's question of hormones, etc.

Hee hee...
It's funny - in TCOYF, she talks about how women have gotten really concerned about their fluids, that they've really freaked out, got a bunch of tests done, only to find out it was normal. I can TOTALLY related. Not saying what you have is nothing, but could just be normal.
If it helps, I tend to have higher pain around ovulation, which is also when egg-white type cervical fluid makes an appearance. Perhaps keep track of when you notice it and see if there's a pattern?
Oh, and I second Ouchy - when did you go off hormones?

Like 2-3 years ago and the pain has gotten worse and worse...the pill made me crazy.. But I'm pretty emotional worn right now so maybe they wouldn't make a difference.. I just want to be granola...

Could you have PCOS? Pain with ovulation is often a symptom.

Uh, yeah, don't have to defend not going on BC to me! They latest one I was on gave me a dose of the 'crazy', too! Was just asking because from what I understand, BC changes your fluids, so you may have noticed a change if you went off them recently.
(And now Ouchy has me wondering if I have PCOS, too...)

i'm sorry i need to just take a moment and be completely immature...... heeeheeheeee "cooter" funniest word ever to describe lady parts! There was a snippet in O magazine about a new book on sex and they had a quote in there that said that years ago, "upright grin" was a slang term for the girlie goods. Ha!! (sorry to hijack your post)
