omg those bars look amazing!
That soup sounds really good too, i'll probably try it out soon.
Here's a really good soup recipe that I've been making about once a week:
BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP:
Ingredients:
1 medium-sized butternut squash, roasted, peeled and cut into pieces (about 3 cups) 1 large onion, chopped 3 medium cloves garlic, chopped 1 TBS chopped fresh ginger 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp curry powder 1 TBS + 2-3/4 cups chicken or vegetable broth 6 oz canned coconut milk salt & pepper to taste
1) saute onions in pot until translucent 2)Add garlic and ginger, and continue to sauté for another minute. Add turmeric and curry powder, and mix well. Add squash and broth, and mix. Bring to a boil on high heat. Once it comes to a boil reduce heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered until squash is tender, about 10 minutes. 3)Place in blender and blend with coconut milk. Make sure you blend in batches filling blender only half full. Start on low speed, so hot soup does not erupt and burn you. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. 4)season with salt and pepper
I like to add hot sauce to my bowl of soup, it's soooo good with the sweetness of the soup. I also sometimes add a little nutmeg.

I got my hands on a recipe to get rid of bloating! This is what female fitness models and body builders do 1 week before a competition.
"Losing 5lbs (or more) of bloat in a healthy way!" -By Julian Michaels
60oz of distilled or pure water Add 1 tablespoon of sugar free cranberry juice Add 1 Dandelion root tea bag Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice
Drink 60oz of this mixture every day for 7 days
I think this is a great idea do to a week before our periods when the bloating is the worst. This is also posted in our "I'm bloated out to --------> here" thread.
NOTE: I wouldn't do this excessively because you can dehydrate yourself. Just do it when you feel like you're retaining water. Also I'm not a huge fan of things that are labeled "sugar free" because that usually means it's full of artificial sweeteners. I would recommend just finding a juice that says "no sugar added." There will be sugar in it but it will be the natural sugars from the juice.

Totally endo-unfriendly but how cool are these Jello shots?? Next party you have you all better invite me over and you have to make these jello shots! You just cut an orange/grapefruit/lemon/lime or whatever in half and throw the Jello in there with the liquor and then refrigerate for 3 hours. Then take it out and slice it! Attachments:

pretty close. we actually spray olive oil on rather than drizzle--put olive oil in an aerosal sprayer. and we put grind on black pepper and salt, and sometimes some bits of crushed garlic. Haven't tried with the lemon!

I did find some GF canned soups, Wolfgang Puck makes some and I found a GF cream of mushroom one as well, another brand though. If anyone has SUNSET foods in their area, I was just at mine and they have an entire long aisle of all GF items! It was so nice to have everything in 1 aisle, make it super handy! I'll have to check out the recipe for the soup!

This creamy asparagus soup should please just about anyone! It's my husband's favorite meal and he hates vegetables! lol It's also Endo-Friendly! BTW- this makes a gigantic batch, so you can down-size if you want. Creamy Asparagus Soup Ingredients: 2 Bunches of Asparagus (cut into 1 inch pieces) 4 Russet potatoes (cut into cubes) 1 Onion (sliced) 1 clove of garlic 1/4 tsp white pepper 1/4 tsp Celery Salt Salt (Himalayan or sea salt, whatever you like) 32oz Organic Vegetable Broth 32 oz Water 2 tbs Olive Oil 1 cup unsweetened, regular almond milk (optional) First,In your large soup pot (heated), put in the oil, onions and garlic and saute. Then add your vegetable broth, potatoes and asparagus. Then, add the water until all the vegetables are submerged (you may need more or less). Then cook on medium high heat until potatoes are cooked thoroughly (it's ok if they fall apart at the touch of your fork, it will make it easier on your blender) PLEASE let the soup cool down before you do this next part, otherwise you can and probably will have a green ceiling (I found this out the hard way. Then, transfer your soup to the blender and blend until it is smooth. Transfer back to the soup pot and back on the burner (low heat) add your seasonings (salt to taste) and then add your almond milk. To make a pretty display- put your soup into the bowls before adding the almond milk, and then carefully drizzle a swirl of it into the bowls (it will float on top of the soup, and looks pretty cool) BTW- I have added all kinds of vegetables to the soup (especially if I need to use them up quickly) cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, even corn. Be creative with it, I doubt it can be messed up!

Has anyone tried replacing noodles with zucchini? It is quite delicious, and I prefer it over the gluten free noodles.
Zucchini Lasagna- Endo Friendly!
Ingredients Daiya "Cheese" shreds- Mozzerella flavored (this is the BEST fake cheese!) 1-2 Zucchinis- depending on size (thinly sliced) 1 jar of your favorite endo-friendly spaghetti sauce 1/2 to 1 cup of mixed veggies (corn/carrots/peas mix)*optional
In a 9x9 oiled casserole dish begin your layers- sauce, zucchini, sauce, cheese, zucchini, mixed veggies (optional), sauce, cheese
Put in the oven (covered) on 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and veggies are cooked to your liking.
FYI- you can also slice zucchinis into thin strips (try to mimic spaghetti noodles) and use them as "spaghetti" too.
